Rich Eagle Standard in Natural (Serial #86894) is a maple neck-through Eagle with its original DiMarzio humbuckers still installed. The body pairs a maple through-neck with maple wings, separated by rosewood stringers, under a gloss natural finish that shows off the laminate. It weighs 8.32 lb. The serial would point to 1986, but B.C. Rich serials from the '80s are notoriously unreliable, so we've dated it to the early-to-mid part of the decade. Because the neck runs through the body, there's no bolted joint in the way of the upper frets. The headstock has a rosewood veneer, a mother of pearl \"R,\" and a brass truss rod cover. The guitar currently wears aftermarket locking tuners and an aftermarket stoptail tailpiece.
