The Sitka spruce top uses advanced 1930s-style forward-shifted bracing, which lets the top move freely for big low end and strong projection. The nitrocellulose finish in Vintage Sunburst is trimmed with cream binding, a multi-ring cream and black rosette, and a vintage-style firestripe pickguard. It weighs 4.74 lb. It's in very good condition with light wear from playing: light scratches and swirls in the finish, a handful of small dings on the sides, some pick scratches on the bass side of the soundhole, and some finish separation around the headstock inlays.\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThe set mahogany neck has Gibson's Historic Rounded carve (.825\" at the 1st fret, .885\" at the 9th) in nitro. The rosewood fretboard has cream binding, mother of pearl diamond and arrow inlays, a 12\" radius, and medium jumbo frets. The 25.5\" scale is longer than most Gibson flattops, which adds string tension and punch. The synthetic bone nut measures 1.72\". The headstock carries a mother of pearl Gibson script logo with a diamond and arrows inlay, plus Grover open-gear tuners in nickel.
