Sapele’s clear tone profile is similar to mahogany, with a splash of upper register chime, while the Sitka spruce top’s premium Adirondack spruce CV bracing bolsters the volume and sonic fullness across the tonal spectrum. Other premium features include a dramatic Florentine cutaway, a new rosewood/mother-of-pearl Capstone fretboard inlay, single ring rosewood/mother-of-pearl rosette, rosewood binding with curly maple top edge trim, rosewood back strip, and Gotoh Gold tuners, with Taylor’s natural-sounding Expression System® 2 electronics for rich amplified tone.
