Comes with gigbag, hang-tags.

The 2019 Danocaster Single Cut Double Bound in 3-Tone Sunburst is a near-mint example of one of the most sought-after boutique single cut-style guitars going, hand-built in Nashville by Dan Strain. The original owner had Danocaster itself re-neck the guitar in December 2022 to the larger 86C profile, and it comes with both hang-tags — the original from 2019 and the second documenting the 2022 re-neck. Its double-bound ash body wears a nitrocellulose lacquer relic finish in classic 3-Tone Sunburst, showing the tasteful, intentional wear Danocaster is known for with little to no additional player wear, and at a feather-light 6.76 lbs. it delivers the combination of resonance and all-day comfort players chase.

At the heart of this guitar is that maple neck, carved to the substantial 86C profile (.860" at the 1st fret, .975" at the 12th) and finished in a smooth French polish that feels broken-in and fast under the hand. The maple fingerboard carries black dot inlays and a vintage-friendly 9.5" radius, with 21 Jescar medium jumbo frets over the 25.5" scale and a 1.65" bone nut for stable tuning and authentic tone. The four-bolt neck joint and signature Danocaster headstock keep it true to the classic single-cut blueprint, while the Danocaster three-saddle patent-pending bridge, vintage-style tuners, and relic'd nickel hardware complete a package that looks and plays like a well-loved vintage instrument — because it's built to.

The electronics are where this Danocaster really sings: a set of hand-wound Ron Ellis pickups — a 50/60 STD in the neck and a 50/60B in the bridge, among the most revered boutique Tele pickups made — wired to a master volume, master tone, and three-way blade selector. Expect the full Tele range, from warm, woody neck-position rhythm and jazz tones to the spanky twang and cutting bite that define a great bridge pickup. Whether you're a session player, a country or roots picker, an indie and rock rhythm guitarist, or a collector after a Danocaster with Ron Ellis pickups, this near-mint 2019 is a rare find. It comes with its gigbag and both hang-tags. Order today from Brian's Guitars.
