Featuring dual Gibson mini-humbuckers, a DiMarzio Dual-Sound humbucker in the middle position, and two mini-toggle switches for coil-tapping and phase, this guitar employs the same unique modifications as Townsend's original 1976 Les Paul Deluxe. A 3-piece "pancake" mahogany/maple/mahogany body with a 3-piece maple top, 3-piece maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard further exude this guitar's "Norlin Era" roots.
