1995 Paul Reed Smith Guitar of the Month December Violin Amber Burst
1995 Paul Reed Smith Guitar of the Month December Violin Amber Burst
March 5th, 1996 (Note from Paul Reed Smith)
"For the 12th and last guitar of this Guitar of the Month series, we killed two birds with one stone. We redesigned our EG series to make it a true offset cutaway guitar with a strong neck joint and new body shape and made a one of a kind beautiful hand carved musical instrument."
"This 12th Guitar of the Month for 1995 was designed, handmade, and hand-crafted by Joseph Knaggs, Dave Hazel, Winn Krozack, and myself. The guitar was produced over the course of four months starting in the Fall of 1995 and ending in the month of February 1996. Three-fourths of the guitar was built at our new plant. This instrument was built from our most beautiful select wood from my private stash. It has the single headstock bird which is my personal logo. I am extremely pleased with the new shape, hand carved top, inlays, neck, neck joint, and solid tone. This is a first proto of a new model for us." - Paul Reed Smith
