Aristides 070R Yellow 7-String Evertune
Aristides 070R Yellow 7-String Evertune
Serial Number: 4269
Weight: 8.56 lbs.
The Aristides 070R in Yellow is a 7-string built without a single piece of wood. Aristides molds the body and neck as one continuous piece from Arium, their proprietary composite: a rigid outer shell wrapped around a resonant core, which gives the guitar the airy response of a chambered instrument with none of the seasonal movement of timber. Each shell takes roughly eight hours of hand-layering — topcoat, glass fiber, carbon, and more, built up inside a custom mold — before Arium is distributed evenly through the interior for consistent resonance. Every body is acoustically tested, weighed, and approved, then cured twice in a heated chamber. This one comes in at 8.56 lbs. in a Raw finish, with a bright Yellow body, matching Yellow headstock, and a Yellow "070" inlay at the 12th fret. The 070 is the design that started Aristides' Standard Series, and it remains the most balanced platform in the line — equally at home on clean parts, rhythm work, and lead playing.
The neck is Arium as well, carved to a comfortable C profile (.75" at the 1st fret, .79" at the 12th) and left Raw to match the body. With one-piece body/neck construction there is no joint to work around: sustain runs uninterrupted and upper-fret access is wide open. A Richlite fretboard carries 24 stainless steel Jescar FW57110 frets over a 12–16" compound radius, with a 26.5" scale length and a 1.65" Graphtech TUSQ nut. That extended scale keeps the low B tight and articulate instead of flubby. An EverTune bridge holds pitch through heavy picking, hard bends, and long sets, and Hipshot locking tuners make string changes quick. All hardware is black.
Fishman Fluence Open Core Modern humbuckers handle both positions, wired to a volume control and a 5-way blade selector with a push/pull for voicing changes. The Fluence Moderns cover serious ground — tight, high-output modern gain in one voicing, a warmer vintage-leaning attack in the other, with none of the hum or tonal drift of traditional wound coils. Combined with the EverTune and the stainless frets, the result is a guitar that sounds the same on take twelve as it did on take one. Whether you're a prog player who needs clarity in extended-range riffs, a metal rhythm guitarist who wants every note in a chord defined, or a session or touring player looking for one instrument that simply never goes out of tune, the 070R delivers. This Aristides 070R in Yellow (Serial #4269) includes a deluxe gig bag. Order today from Brian's Guitars, your authorized Aristides dealer.
