Dual Stage Amplification Auralith Reverb MK1
Dual Stage Amplification Auralith Reverb MK1
The Dual Stage Amplification Auralith Reverb MK1 is a handmade reverb pedal built in New Haven, CT, just down the road from our shop. It is voiced after the spring tank in a tube amp, but heard from the far side of a large room. The trails sit back behind your dry signal with depth and air instead of splashing right on top of it. The name blends “aura” and “monolith,” and the pedal lives up to both: one solid box with a lot of atmosphere inside.
The Auralith is warm without turning muddy and defined without getting brittle. The decay fills the space around each note while the pick attack stays clear, so chords and single-note lines both hold their shape. At low settings, it smooths out a harsh, dry signal and adds a little room around your amp. Turn it up for drenched shoegaze washes or a classic surf drip. It covers that range quickly, so you can find a usable setting without a lot of tweaking.
Whether you’re a surf player who wants spring-style drip on a pedalboard, a shoegaze or ambient player building wide, layered textures, or a player who just wants a little space behind a dry amp, the Auralith Reverb MK1 has the aura you’re after. It is handmade in New Haven, CT. Order today from Brian’s Guitars.
