Dunable R2 DE Bass Matte Black Swamp Ash
Dunable R2 DE Bass Matte Black Swamp Ash
Serial Number: R2802
Weight: 10.4 lbs.
The Dunable R2 DE Bass in Matte Black (Serial #R2802) brings Dunable's R2 shape to the low end. The body is swamp ash, finished in matte black. A multi-ply black pickguard and black hardware keep it dark from end to end. The matte black headstock has a gold-outline Dunable logo and a DE truss rod cover. It weighs 10.4 lb.
The maple neck has a C carve (.79" at the 1st fret, .84" at the 12th). It's a set neck, so it has a solid, resonant connection to the body. The ebony fretboard has white binding, pearloid dot inlays, a 12" radius, and 21 medium jumbo frets. The 35" scale adds string tension, which keeps the low end tight and focused, especially in lower tunings. The nut is GraphTech TUSQ at 1.55". A Dunable bass bridge and open-back tuners handle the hardware.
The electronics are Dunable pickups in the neck and bridge positions, with a Dunable P in the neck for classic, punchy P-bass thump. The controls are two volumes and one tone, so you can blend the pickups to dial in anything from round, warm lows to a more cutting, aggressive tone. Whether you're a metal bassist, a punk player, or a stoner and doom player who wants something heavier-looking than the usual P or J, the R2 DE Bass covers it. (Serial #R2802) Comes with a Dunable DE hardshell case. Order today from Brian's Guitars, your authorized Dunable dealer.
