The Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom Alex Lifeson 1976 ES-355 Reissue in Alpine White (Serial #26011510951) recreates the ES-355 that Lifeson played through decades of progressive rock with Rush. The semi-hollow body is 5-ply layered maple and poplar around a solid maple centerblock, which adds sustain and helps resist feedback at volume. The top and back are bound, and the guitar is finished in gloss Alpine White with a 5-ply tortoise pickguard and gold hardware throughout. It weighs 10.01 lb.

The 3-piece maple neck has a Slim C carve in a gloss finish, with a '70s-style volute that reinforces the joint where the neck meets the headstock. The ebony fretboard has single-ply cream binding, mother-of-pearl block inlays, a 12" radius, and 22 medium jumbo frets on a 24.75" scale, with a 1.69" Graph Tech nut. The Gibson-style open book headstock has a bound face with a mother-of-pearl Epiphone logo and Custom split diamond, die-cast tuners, and a truss rod cover engraved with Alex Lifeson's name. A gold harmonica-style Tune-O-Matic bridge and a gold Maestro Vibrola let you add shimmer and dips with the bar.

Two USA-made Gibson T-Type humbuckers handle the tone, each with its own volume and tone control. The pots are CTS, the tone caps are Mallory, and the 3-way pickup toggle and output jack are Switchcraft. A mono Varitone adds preset tone voicings, and a mini toggle switches it in and out, so you can set a sound and jump to it mid-song.
