Fender '68 Custom Vibro Champ
Fender '68 Custom Vibro Champ
The Fender '68 Custom Vibro Champ brings the low-wattage '68 Custom series to its smallest, most stripped-down amp, built around the original Vibro Champ's famous 5-watt tube circuit — a favorite for classic Fender tremolo, tube sparkle, and touch-sensitive grind at genuinely usable volumes. This Custom version improves on the vintage original with a hall reverb (the original Vibro Champ had none) and a larger 10" speaker for fuller low-end than the vintage 8" speaker delivered.
A pair of 12AX7 preamp tubes drives a single 6V6 power tube for 5 watts of touch-sensitive tube breakup, feeding the 10" Celestion Ten 30 speaker with built-in hall reverb and tremolo, controlled through a simple volume, treble, bass, reverb, speed, and intensity layout. Two 1/4" inputs (the second attenuated by -6dB) offer flexibility for hotter or lower-output instruments, and the amp ships with a fitted cover for protection between sessions.
Whether you're a player who wants real tube tone and grind at bedroom or rehearsal-friendly volume, someone tracking home recordings who needs an amp that breaks up beautifully without blowing out a mix, or a gigging player who wants a genuinely small, grab-and-go backup amp, the '68 Custom Vibro Champ delivers classic Fender character in its smallest package. This Fender '68 Custom Vibro Champ includes a fitted cover. Order today from Brian's Guitars, your authorized Fender dealer.
