The maple neck has a Deep “C” carve with rolled fingerboard edges and a “Super-Natural” satin urethane finish. A newly sculpted heel makes the upper frets easy to reach. The rosewood fretboard has white dot inlays, a 9.5" radius, and 22 narrow tall frets on a 25.5" scale, with a 1.685" bone nut. The neck attaches with a 4-bolt asymmetrical joint and Micro-Tilt adjustment, so you can set the neck angle without removing the neck. The 2-point synchronized tremolo has a cold-rolled steel block that adds sustain, clarity, and high-end sparkle. Its ClassicGear Radial bent-steel saddles make intonation and action adjustments easy. Their screws are recessed, so they stay out from under your picking hand. A pop-in arm and Fender standard cast/sealed staggered tuners complete the hardware.
The pickups are three V-Mod III single-coil Strat pickups. They deliver the bell-like chime and warmth you expect from a Strat, with more articulation. The controls are a 5-position blade switch, a master volume, one tone knob for the neck and middle pickups, and a second tone knob for the bridge pickup. That separate bridge tone lets you smooth out the top end without dulling the other pickups. ClassicGear Precision potentiometers give the knobs a smooth, consistent taper. A push-push tone control adds the neck pickup to the mix. That gives you combinations a standard Strat can’t get, such as neck and bridge together, or all three pickups at once.
