The Fender American Professional Jazz Bass in Natural (Serial #US26035365) is a modern working bass built on a classic design. A newly sculpted heel opens up access to the upper frets. The maple fretboard has black dot inlays, a 9.5" radius, and 20 narrow tall frets on a 34" scale. The nut is bone and measures 1.5" wide. The bolt-on neck gives you the quick attack and snap that Jazz Basses are known for. The 4-saddle HiMass Pro bridge can be strung through the body or top-loaded, so you can choose how much string tension you want under your fingers. The electronics are a pair of V-Mod III single-coil Jazz Bass pickups in the neck and bridge positions. They’re wired to two volume controls and a master tone. The controls use ClassicGear Precision potentiometers, which have a smooth, consistent taper across the full sweep. Turn both pickups all the way up for the classic scooped Jazz Bass growl. Lean on the bridge pickup for midrange bite on fingerstyle funk and slap, or roll toward the neck pickup for round, deep low end.
