Gibson Custom Advanced Jumbo Anniversary Limited Edition Cremona Burst
Serial Number: 21326029
Weight: 4.66 lbs.

The Gibson Custom Advanced Jumbo Anniversary Limited Edition in Cremona Burst is one of just 100 built, part of a five-model Anniversary Collection marking 100 years of Gibson flat-tops. Built in Bozeman, Montana, it pairs rosewood back and sides with a select bear claw Sitka spruce top — figuring you don't often see on a production acoustic. Multi-ply binding frames the back, while the top carries multi-ply binding with abalone and an abalone multi-ring rosette. Historic Cremona Burst gloss nitrocellulose lacquer ties it together, and at 4.66 lbs. it sits light for a rosewood dreadnought.

The mahogany neck uses Gibson's Historic AJ profile (.860" at the 1st fret, .905" at the 9th), set into the body and finished in gloss nitro. The bound rosewood fretboard carries 19 frets and mother-of-pearl arrow inlays over a 12" radius, with a 25.5" long scale and a 1.735" bone nut. The single-ply bound headstock wears the vintage script "The Gibson" logo inlaid in mother of pearl, with gold-plated Grover open-back tuners. The rectangular closed-slot rosewood bridge holds a bone saddle and TUSQ bridge pins, with pyramid carvings on the bridge wings — a detail lifted straight from Gibson's earliest flat-tops. A firestripe pickguard completes the period-correct look.

L.R. Baggs VTC electronics handle amplification, with a piezo under-saddle sensor and active preamp feeding soundhole-mounted volume and tone controls that stay within reach and out of sight. Acoustically, the Advanced Jumbo does what it was designed to do in 1936: the enlarged body pushes real volume and projection with a firm low end that holds up in a flatpicking context. Whether you're a bluegrass player who needs a guitar that cuts, a singer-songwriter working rooms of every size, or a collector building around Gibson's flat-top history, this one earns its spot. This Advanced Jumbo Anniversary Limited Edition (Serial #21326029, 1 of 100) ships in a Gibson Custom hardshell case with a Certificate of Authenticity. Order today from Brian's Guitars, your authorized Gibson dealer — when these 100 are gone, they're gone.
