The Murphy Lab's Light Aged nitrocellulose lacquer treatment adds subtle checking and gentle wear across the solid mahogany body and carved maple top, giving this 8.76 lb. Feel-wise, this is period-correct 1956 through and through. The mahogany neck carries Gibson's 1950s Chunky D profile (.925" at the 1st fret, 1.015" at the 12th) with a Light Aged nitro finish, joined to the body via a long-tenon set-neck joint for maximum resonance and sustain.
