The PRS Custom 24-08 in Pomegranate is a limited edition built on the model that launched the company in 1985, and the finish is the first thing you'll notice. A 10 Top curly maple cap over mahogany, finished in high-gloss nitrocellulose in Pomegranate — a Private Stock color rarely seen outside that program. This one weighs 8.14 lbs. The neck is flame maple rather than mahogany, carved to PRS's Pattern Thin profile (53/64" at the 1/2 fret, 57/64" at the 12 1/2 fret) — the fastest shape in the PRS lineup and a favorite of players who move quickly. Set-neck construction with high-gloss nitro, and the fretboard is ziricote, a dense, dramatically figured wood that adds snap and clarity on top of the maple neck.
