The PRS Custom 24-08 in Whale Blue Emerald Burst (Serial #0429448) is a 10-Top piece in a Sprayer's Choice color, a PRS spray crew experiement — blue chased into emerald by eye. The curly maple top earned the 10-Top grade, and high-gloss nitrocellulose over mahogany gives the figure real depth. It weighs 7.68 lbs. The fretboard is ziricote, with PRS bird inlays and a matching ziricote headstock veneer carrying an inlaid signature. Ten-inch radius, 24 frets of PRS standard wire, 25" scale, 1 11/16" PRS nut. Set-neck construction ties the neck and body together for sustain and a strong midrange. Hardware is the patented PRS Gen III tremolo and Phase III locking tuners with wing buttons, finished in smoked black to suit the darker top.
