The PRS Myles Kennedy Signature in Hunters Green is the first signature model for the Alter Bridge and Slash and the Conspirators frontman — a T-style-inspired rock machine that blends vintage looks with the blues- and jazz-informed versatility Kennedy is known for. Built on a resonant swamp ash body finished in high-gloss nitrocellulose, this 7.9 lb. signature guitar may look like it was born for chicken pickin' (and it can absolutely get there), but it was designed from the ground up to handle heavy rock duty. Kennedy's "Geometric Owl" logo from his Ides of March solo album — a symbol of wisdom and adaptability — adorns the guitar as a signature touch.
The heart of this model is the pair of PRS Narrowfield MK pickups, voiced over months of development to capture the full-bodied punch of humbuckers with the spank and articulation of single-coils — hum-free thick single-coil tones that let Kennedy move between both worlds without compromise. A 5-way blade selector and push/pull tone control (a preset treble roll-off on the bridge pickup so you can dig in hard without harshness) unlock a huge range of usable sounds, from glassy cleans to saturated rock grind.
The bolt-on maple neck features Kennedy's custom carve (57/64" at the 1/2 fret, 31/32" at the 12 1/2 fret) with a fast satin finish, maple fretboard with outline bird inlays, 10" radius, 22 frets, 25.5" scale length, and 1.64" bone nut — topped with a sleek satin black headstock.
