Paul Reed Smith Private Stock 24 Fret McCarty Singlecut Trem Guitar Of The Month
Weight: 9.0lbs
Inspired by a special instrument made for Carlos Santana, the Private Stock September Guitar of the Month is a 24-Fret McCarty Singlecut Trem. The classic Santana/PRS combination of a 24.5” scale length, 24 frets, and a tremolo bridge live on here, and just like Santana’s personal axe, the September Guitar of the Month features a “custom wound” 58/15 treble pickup, which is wound a little hotter for a bit more power in the bridge.
The September 24-Fret McCarty Singlecut Trem models are finished in Gold Leaf with a high-gloss nitro top coat. Each piece of Gold Leaf is applied by hand by Private Stock Director, Paul Miles. Each piece of Gold Leaf is approximately 3” by 3”. Each instrument has 25-30 pieces of 23k Gold Leaf per top.
Only twenty of these instruments will be made for September 2016, commemorating Private Stock’s 20th Anniversary.
