Paul Reed Smith Private Stock Custom 24 7-String Frostbite Glow
Paul Reed Smith Private Stock Custom 24 7 String Frostbite Glow
Serial Number: 433190
Private Stock Number: #12417
Weight: 7.56 lbs.
The PRS Private Stock Custom 24 7-String in Frostbite Glow (Serial #433190, Private Stock #12417) was spec'd by the Brian's Guitars team and built by PRS's Private Stock shop, the small group of builders behind PRS's top-tier instruments. We chose the details ourselves. A single-piece quilted maple top in Frostbite Glow sits over a black back with white grainfill. The hardware is flat black, and the ebony fretboard has no face dots. A pair of Bare Knuckle Polymaths gives this extended-range Custom 24 its voice.
The top is a single piece of quilted maple finished in Frostbite Glow, over an African mahogany body. The back is black with white grainfill, which lets the mahogany grain show through. The satin nitro finish covers the body and the neck, so the guitar feels smooth and natural in your hands. It weighs 7.56 lb.
The set mahogany neck uses PRS's Pattern Thin 7-String carve. The ebony fretboard has no face dots, leaving a clean, unbroken black surface. It has a 14" radius and 24 PRS frets on a 26.5" scale. That extra length over a standard 25" scale keeps the low B tight and clear. The nut is synthetic bone, 1.894" wide. The headstock carries a Bats with Moons inlay. A PRS plate-style hardtail anchors the strings for solid sustain and tuning stability. PRS Phase III locking tuners make string changes quick, and all hardware is flat black.
Two Bare Knuckle Polymath humbuckers handle the sound. They're voiced for clarity under high gain, so chords stay defined across all seven strings. The controls are volume, tone, and a 3-way toggle. Pulling the tone knob taps the coils for cleaner, brighter single-coil sounds. Whether you play progressive metal or djent, you're an extended-range player who wants PRS build quality, or you collect Private Stock instruments, this Brian's Guitars spec delivers. (Serial #433190, Private Stock #12417) It comes with a PRS Private Stock ATA hardshell case. Order today from Brian's Guitars, your authorized PRS dealer.
