The PRS SE CE 24 in Slate Blue takes the classic Custom 24 recipe — maple top, mahogany back, rosewood fretboard — and swaps in a bolt-on maple neck. That's the whole point of the CE platform: bolt-on construction adds snap, attack, and immediacy that a set neck doesn't, giving the guitar a brighter, more percussive front end. The mahogany body wears a maple top with flame maple veneer under a gloss Slate Blue finish, set off by a satin black headstock. The maple neck is carved to PRS's Wide Thin profile (13/16" at the 1/2 fret, 57/64" at the 12 1/2 fret) with a satin finish that stays fast under a moving hand. The rosewood fretboard carries white bird inlays, a 10" radius, 24 frets, a 25" scale length, and a 1.6875" PRS nut. Twenty-four frets means the full two octaves are there when a lead run needs them.
