The PRS SE McCarty 594 Singlecut in Vintage Sunburst is a mahogany-bodied singlecut with a maple top and flame maple veneer, finished in gloss Vintage Sunburst. Classic looks, no gimmicks. At 8.12 lbs. it carries some weight, and that's deliberate — the 594's slightly thicker back adds mass where it counts, and the singlecut body brings the sustain and midrange thickness the McCarty family is known for.
The mahogany neck is carved to PRS's Pattern Vintage profile (7/8" at the 1/2 fret, 63/64" at the 12 1/2 fret), a full, rounded vintage shape that fills the hand without wearing it out. Set-neck construction with a gloss finish, a rosewood fretboard with faux bone binding and PRS's signature white bird inlays, 10" radius, 22 frets, and a 1.6875" PRS nut. The number that defines the model is the 24.594" scale length — right between Gibson's 24.75" and PRS's standard 25", and where the 594 gets its name. It's also where the feel comes from: slinky bends and a warmer, rounder attack than a standard-scale PRS. A PRS two-piece bridge and PRS-designed non-locking tuners with wing buttons keep it stable.
Electronics are 58/15 LT "S" humbuckers at both positions, wound for warmth and clarity rather than output — vintage-leaning tone with the top end still intact.
