Paul Reed Smith Tekton Floyd Hot Pink Pre-Order
Paul Reed Smith Tekton Floyd Hot Pink Pre-Order
This is a Pre-Order Listing for the PRS Tekton Floyd in Hot Pink. Brian's Guitars expects these guitars to arrive in November/December 2026.
The PRS Tekton Floyd in Hot Pink takes the modern Tekton platform and adds a double-locking Floyd Rose for players who want full tremolo range with dependable tuning. Tekton comes from the ancient Greek word for a builder or craftsman, and this version builds for players who use the whammy bar hard. The body is solid alder, a lightweight tonewood with an even, balanced response and a clear top end. It is finished in high-gloss nitro in a deep Hot Pink. Thin body depth, sculpted contours, and a deep cutaway keep it comfortable and open up easy access to the upper frets.
The bolt-on maple neck has a Modern “D” carve (49/64" at the 1st fret, 27/32" at the 12th fret), with a satin nitro finish that stays fast under your hand. The ebony fretboard has a flat 16" radius, offset dot inlays, and Luminlay side dots that stay visible on a dark stage. The neck carries 24 PRS jumbo stainless steel frets (.110” x .055"), which make bends and legato runs feel slick and will hold up to years of heavy playing. Other specs include a 25.5" scale, a 1 11/16" locking nut, and a bolt-on joint that adds snap to the attack. The Floyd Rose 1000 Series bridge has a 16" radius that matches the fretboard, so the string height stays even across the neck. With the locking nut clamping the strings at both ends, dive bombs and pull-ups come back to pitch. PRS Phase III tuners and smoked black hardware complete the package, along with an inlaid signature logo and a Tekton truss rod cover on the headstock.
A pair of PRS Stylus pickups, developed specifically for the Tekton family, are voiced for clarity and note definition. The controls are master volume, a push/pull tone knob for coil splitting, and a 3-way blade selector. Every position is designed to be usable in both humbucking and split modes, from tight split-coil cleans to full humbucker drive. The Stylus set stays articulate through a tube amp or a digital modeling rig. Whether you’re a shred player who lives on the bar, a metal or prog player who needs every note clear under heavy gain, or a modeling-rig player who wants a Floyd guitar that stays in tune night after night, the Tekton Floyd fits right in. Ships with a PRS Premium Gig Bag. Order today from Brian’s Guitars, your authorized PRS dealer.
