Paul Reed Smith Tekton T Imperial Topaz Pre-Order
Paul Reed Smith Tekton T Imperial Topaz Pre-Order
This is a Pre-Order Listing for the PRS Tekton T in Imperial Topez. Brian's Guitars expects these guitars to arrive in November/December 2026.
The PRS Tekton T in Imperial Topez is a PRS with a Two-Point Tremolo, built for players who want vibrato in a precise, modern package. The name comes from the ancient Greek word for a craftsman or builder, and the spec sheet looks forward. A figured mango top sits over a mahogany body. Mango is a hardwood with a bright, sweet voice and a warm midrange. Over mahogany, it adds sparkle and note clarity to a warm, resonant foundation. The high-gloss nitro finish lets the figure show through the Imperial Topez. Sculpted contours and a deep cutaway make the upper frets easy to reach and keep it comfortable through long practice sessions, studio days, and full sets.
The bolt-on maple neck has a Modern “D” carve (49/64" at the 1st fret, 27/32" at the 12th fret). It is thin without feeling cramped, and the satin nitro finish stays fast under your hand. The ebony fretboard has a flat 16" radius, offset dot inlays, and Luminlay side dots that stay visible on a dark stage. The neck carries 24 PRS jumbo stainless steel frets (.110" x .055"), which give bends a slick feel and will hold up to years of hard playing. Other specs include a 25.5" scale, a 1 11/16" PRS nut, and a bolt-on joint that adds snap to the attack. The PRS Two-Point Tremolo pairs a steel plate with brass saddles and pivots smoothly for shimmer and wide bar moves. PRS Phase III locking tuners help it return to pitch. The hardware is finished in smoked black, and the headstock carries an inlaid signature logo and a Tekton truss rod cover.
A pair of PRS Stylus pickups, developed specifically for the Tekton family, are voiced for clarity and note definition. The controls are master volume, a push/pull tone knob for coil splitting, and a 3-way blade selector. Every position is designed to be usable in both humbucking and split modes, from tight split-coil cleans to full humbucker drive. The Stylus set stays articulate through a tube amp or a digital modeling rig. Whether you’re a technical player who wants a tremolo on a modern, light guitar, a session guitarist covering a lot of ground with one instrument, or a modeling-rig player who wants pickups that won’t smear, the Tekton fits right in. Ships with a PRS Premium Gig Bag. Order today from Brian’s Guitars, your authorized PRS dealer.
