PRS Private Stock #10,003 is a McCarty 594 Trem spec'd by the team at Brian's Guitars to be special even by Private Stock standards, and it shows from the first look: a quilted maple top stained Key Lime, matching quilted maple back cap, scraped body binding on the top for extra depth at the edge, and a mahogany core, the sides of which are finished in Pink Sparkle. At 8.1 lbs., it carries all of that visual flash without feeling heavy.
The Pink Sparkle maple neck wears PRS's Pattern Vintage carve (7/8" at the 1st fret, 63/64" at the 12th fret) and continues the theme with a quilted maple fretboard, inlaid with pink sparkle resin outlined in green. The headstock carries a matching quilt maple veneer in Key Lime with a hand-inlaid pink-and-green sparkle Private Stock eagle. Underneath the sparkle, the fundamentals are all McCarty 594: a 24.594" scale length, 12" fretboard radius, 22 PRS standard frets, a bone nut at 1 11/16", and faux bone fretboard binding.
