The Spector Euro 4 Rex Brown Signature in Desert Gold is available now for pre-order, with Brian's Guitars expecting delivery in September/October 2026. It puts Rex Brown's tone and feel on the Euro 4 platform, starting with a flame maple top over an empress body. Empress keeps the weight down for long sets without thinning out the low end. The Desert Gold stain takes its cue from the New Mexico landscape Rex calls home, set off by a satin black headstock, gold hardware, a script Spector logo, and Rex's signature logo on the back of the headstock.
The 3-piece maple neck carries Rex's signature profile and runs neck-through, so sustain stays even and the upper frets stay open. A satin finish keeps it fast under the hand. The Indian rosewood fingerboard holds 24 frets and smoke signature crown inlays across a 34" scale, with a brass nut for extra attack and consistent open-string tone. Hardware is gold throughout: an aluminum locking bridge with brass saddles, plus sealed die-cast Spector tuners.
Electronics are EMG PJ-X pickups running into Spector's TonePump active preamp. Controls cover neck volume, bridge volume, treble cut/boost, and bass cut/boost, and a rear-accessible trimpot lets you set output level to match your rig. Expect tight low end, a distinct midrange, and enough articulation to stay audible under heavy guitars.
