The Suhr Classic T in Trans Butterscotch is Suhr's take on the original workhorse T-style, built on a swamp ash body with a gloss finish that lets the grain show through. At 7.46 lbs., it's balanced and resonant without being a boat anchor. A black pickguard sets off the butterscotch, and the whole package reads classic while every component underneath is modern Suhr.

The maple neck is carved to Suhr's 60's C Vintage Standard profile (.810" at the 1st fret, .930" at the 12th) with a satin finish and bolt-on construction for the snap and attack a T-style depends on. The maple fretboard carries black dot inlays, a 9-12" compound radius with a standard edge roll, 22 medium stainless steel frets, a 25.5" scale length, and a 1.650" Tusq nut. Two details do the heavy lifting there: the compound radius means comfortable chording at the nut and bends that don't fret out up top, and the stainless frets stay slick under your fingers and won't need dressing for years. Hardware is chrome, with Suhr locking tuners on the original Suhr headstock and a Wilkinson 3-saddle Classic T bridge — vintage 3-saddle tone and mass, but with compensated saddles so it actually intonates across the neck.

Electronics are Suhr's Classic T single-coils in both positions, wired to a volume, a tone, and a 3-way blade selector. The bridge pickup has the twang, cut, and midrange bark a T lives on, and the neck rounds out warm and clear for rhythm and jazz voicings.
