The bolt-on caramel maple neck has Anderson's Even-Taper -.020 carve (.790" at the 1st fret, .850" at the 12th) in the In-Distress finish, which feels worn-in from the start. The ziricote fretboard has a 12"–14" compound radius that keeps chords comfortable down low while flattening out for fast, clean soloing up the neck. It carries 24 jumbo frets on a 25.5" scale with a 1 11/16" nut, and there are no front dots for a clean look. The neck mounts with Anderson's 2-bolt A-Wedgie joint. The Buzz Feiten Tuning System helps chords stay in tune all the way up the neck. The gloss black headstock has a custom logo in a complementary color, plus Anderson locking tuners. Anderson's H1 in the neck and H3+ in the bridge cover a lot of ground. The H1 is smooth and vocal, and the H3+ has more output and bite for driven tones.
