Condition: Excellent condition, 1999 model. Guitar shows some light wear. Handful of small dings on the top, some light swirls and scratches in the clearcoat. Back and sides show a handful of small dings. Back of the body shows some scratches. Control cavity cover as a few hairline cracks around 2 of the mounting screws. Handful of tiny dings on the edges of the headstock. Aftermarket ShepTone Tribute Humbuckers, original Gibson Humbuckers included. Guitar comes with Custom Shop Certificate, hang-tags, original pickups, pickguard (but not mounting screws), and Custom, Arts, and Historic Case. No large paper Custom, Arts, and Historic Certificate.

Condition is excellent with light wear: a handful of small dings on the top, light swirls and scratches in the clearcoat, more small dings on the back and sides, some scratches on the back of the body, tiny dings along the headstock edges, and a few hairline cracks on the control cavity cover around two of the mounting screws.

The mahogany neck is carved to the 1959 Rounded C profile (.905" at the 1st fret, 1.015" at the 12th) in nitro, joined with a long-tenon set-neck for the wood contact and sustain that separates a Historic from a standard Les Paul. That's a substantial neck — the real '59 dimension, not a slimmed-down interpretation. A rosewood fretboard with cream binding and celluloid trapezoid inlays sits over a 12" radius, with 22 medium jumbo frets, a 24.75" scale length, and a 1 11/16" bone nut. The headstock carries the mother-of-pearl Gibson logo with gold Les Paul script. Hardware is nickel throughout: an ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece, and Grover Rotomatic tuners.

A pair of ShepTone Tribute humbuckers is installed, with the original Gibson pickups included, and the guitar has aftermarket Black Beauty capacitors in the harness.
