The Used Aristides 060 Floyd in Pink Sparkle is built without a single piece of wood. Aristides molds the body and neck as one continuous piece from Arium, their proprietary composite — a rigid outer shell around a resonant core that gives the instrument an airy, chambered response with none of the seasonal movement of timber. Every body is acoustically tested and approved before it leaves the shop. This one wears a gloss Pink Sparkle finish with a matching Pink Sparkle headstock and black hardware throughout, and it's in near-mint condition with little to no wear.
The neck is Arium as well, carved to a C profile (.770" at the 1st fret, .815" at the 12th) in gloss to match the body. One-piece body/neck construction means there's no joint to work around: sustain runs uninterrupted and upper-fret access is wide open. A Richlite fretboard carries 24 stainless steel Jescar FW57110 frets over a 10-16" compound radius, with 12th-fret offset dot inlays, a 25.5" scale length, and a 1.65" locking nut. The compound radius rounds out under the chording hand and flattens toward the upper frets for bends that don't choke, and stainless frets stay smooth under heavy bending for decades. A Floyd Rose locking tremolo handles the whammy work with full tuning stability, backed by Hipshot Grip-Lock open-gear locking tuners for fast string changes.
The pickup pairing is a Seymour Duncan Pegasus humbucker in the bridge and an APS-II single-coil in the neck, wired to a volume control with a push/pull for coil-splitting and a 3-way blade selector. The Pegasus brings tight, aggressive bridge tone with the pick attack and low-end control that high-gain playing demands, while the APS-II keeps the neck position clear, glassy, and vocal for leads and clean parts.
