This 2022 Bourgeois Piccolo Parlor - Victorian in Italian Spruce is Bourgeois's smallest body offering, an 18" parlor built to prove that short scale doesn't mean small sound. A solid Italian spruce top sits over quilted sapele back and sides, voiced with Bourgeois's Custom Scalloped X bracing to coax a full, balanced tone out of that compact air cavity — the kind of unexpected volume and depth that makes players double-take the first time they hear it. At a featherweight 3.6 lbs., it's finished in gloss natural with striking Ziricote body binding, custom rope purfling, and a matching rope-style rosette. This example is in mint, pre-owned condition with little to no wear and comes with its original Bourgeois hardshell case.

The Honduran mahogany neck carries a substantial V carve (.840" at the 1st fret, .950" at the 9th), set into the body for maximum sustain and resonance transfer. An ebony fretboard finished with Ziricote binding and black/white purfling hosts abalone diamond-and-arrow inlays across 18 medium jumbo frets, with a 14" radius and 25" scale length keeping the short-scale feel comfortable under the fingers.
