This 2018 Dean Cadillac X in Black (Serial #J18071661) is a 3-humbucker rock machine with a classic black-and-gold look. The body is mahogany, finished in gloss black and trimmed with cream binding and purfling. Gold hardware stands out against the black for a bold, stage-ready look. Mahogany gives the Cadillac a warm, thick voice with plenty of low-mid push. This one weighs 8.64 lb.

The mahogany neck has a C carve (.815" at the 1st fret, .900" at the 12th fret), slim enough for fast leads with enough body for rhythm work. The bound ebony fretboard has pearloid block inlays, a 12" radius, and 22 jumbo frets. Ebony adds snap and clarity to each note, and the jumbo frets make bends and vibrato easy. Other specs include a 24.75" scale and a 1 11/16" synthetic bone nut. The set-neck joint adds sustain and a solid, resonant feel.
