Condition: Very good condition, 2007 model. Guitar shows some wear. Handful of small dings, some scratches on the top. Handful of small dings on the ends of the horns, on the back of the body. Some light scratches in the clearcoat on the back. Headstock face shows some scratches, swirls, and some wear on the edge. Comes with original Dean Hardshell case.

The 2007 Dean Exotic Series ML in Spalted Maple pairs Dean's aggressive, offset ML body shape with a striking top — book-matched spalted maple over a mahogany body, with white body binding to frame it. Finish is gloss natural, letting the spalting's natural black veining show through. It weighs 7.24 lbs. Condition is very good, with real playing wear: a handful of small dings and scratches on the top, small dings on the horn tips and back of the body, light clearcoat scratches on the back, and some scratches, swirls, and edge wear on the headstock face. An exotic top on a guitar that's clearly been played, not shelved.

The neck is mahogany in a Soft V shape (.845" at the 1st fret, .940" at the 12th), set-neck construction for maximum sustain and easy upper-fret access. The rosewood fretboard has white binding and abalone block inlays, a 12" radius, 22 medium jumbo frets, a 24.75" scale length, and a 1 11/16" synthetic nut. The gloss black headstock carries an abalone Dean logo for a striking, high-end look. Hardware is a Tune-O-Matic bridge with a string-thru V-shaped tailpiece, Grover tuners, and satin nickel finish throughout — stable, road-ready, and true to the ML's metal-leaning roots.
