This used Fender Custom Shop '58 Stratocaster Relic in Faded/Aged Candy Apple Red pairs Custom Shop craftsmanship to a vintage-inspired icon, built around a 2-piece alder body finished in Relic nitrocellulose lacquer that's been faded and aged for an authentic, well-loved look straight out of the case. At 7.6 lbs. and in mint condition — showing no added wear beyond the factory relic treatment — this is a Strat built to look like it's been on the road for decades while playing like it just left the Custom Shop.
The maple neck, cut from 5/4 quartersawn stock, wears Fender's comfortable '54 Soft V profile (.850" at the 1st fret, .980" at the 12th) with a medium-tint nitrocellulose relic finish and classic 4-bolt construction for that unmistakable Strat snap. A maple fretboard with black Micarta dot inlays, 9.5" radius, 21 narrow-tall frets, 25.5" scale length, and a 1.650" bone nut keep the playing feel firmly vintage-correct, while the small headstock with its period-style decal and original contour completes the look. Vintage-style tuners with the Fender logo, chrome/nickel hardware, a Custom Shop vintage Strat Relic tremolo bridge, and a 1-ply eggshell pickguard round out the aged-to-perfection hardware package.
