Condition: Very good, 2012 model. Guitar shows some wear consistant with use. Body shows some scratches/swirls, dings, and a few light scuffs in the VOS finish, particularly in the darker parts of the finish. One indented scratch near upper treble side mounting screw on the bridge pickup. Hardware shows some cloudiness, pitting, and tarnish, particularly on the pickup covers. Edges of the headstock show some dings. Comes with original hardshell case and certificate of authenticity.

This 2012 Gibson Custom Joe Bonamassa Signature '61 ES-335 Reissue in Vintage Sunburst (Serial #JB 48) is Joe's take on the early-'60s dot-neck 335, built by Gibson Custom. The semi-hollow body is laminated maple/poplar/maple with cream binding. It's finished in nitrocellulose lacquer with Gibson's VOS treatment for a subtly aged look, and it weighs 7.5 lb. This is a used guitar in very good condition with honest wear from playing. The finish shows scratches, swirls, dings, and a few light scuffs, mostly in the darker areas of the burst. There's also one indented scratch near the upper treble-side mounting screw of the bridge pickup and a few dings along the headstock edges.

The mahogany neck is carved to the 1959 Bonamassa Round profile (.860" at the 1st fret, .960" at the 12th). It's a full, rounded grip that fills the hand. The set-neck joint gives it strong sustain and a solid, resonant feel. The bound rosewood fretboard has mother-of-pearl dot inlays, a 12" radius, and 22 medium jumbo frets on a 24.75" scale. The nylon nut is 1.69" wide. The headstock carries a mother-of-pearl Gibson logo and crown inlay with Kluson Deluxe single-ring tuners. An ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece anchor the strings. The nickel hardware shows cloudiness, pitting, and tarnish, most noticeably on the pickup covers.

Two '57 Classic humbuckers run through two volume controls, two tone controls, and a 3-way toggle. The neck pickup gives you warm, round tones for jazz and blues leads.
