Condition: Very good condition, 2006 model. Guitar shows some wear. Some scratches, swirls, and checking in the clearcoat on the top of the guitar. The back and sides also show some scratches and swirling. Headstock veneer shows some wear on the edges, some checking/finish separation around the Gibson logo. "50's Style Neck" sticker on the truss rod cover. Hardware shows some pitting/tarnishing. Comes with original hardshell case.

This used 2006 Gibson Les Paul Standard Premium Plus in Wine Red is a USA-built classic topped with a gorgeous AAA-grade flamed maple cap — the "Premium Plus" designation reserved for Gibson's most figured Standard tops. The deep Wine Red gloss nitrocellulose finish lets the flame ripple across the maple over a solid mahogany body with single-ply cream binding. It shows honest play wear — scratches and swirling, finish checking on the top, and dinged headstock edges, plus some tarnish to the gold hardware, all documented in the condition notes — but it remains a strong, players-grade example. At 10.5 lbs it's a substantial slab of mahogany and maple, with the heft that feeds the Les Paul's signature sustain and thick midrange.

The mahogany neck is carved to Gibson's full '50s Rounded profile (.820" at the 1st fret, .975" at the 12th) — still wearing its "50's Style Neck" sticker on the truss rod cover — and set into the body for maximum sustain and sweet upper-fret access. A bound rosewood fingerboard carries pearloid trapezoid inlays and a 12" radius, with 22 medium-jumbo frets over the 24.75" scale and a 1 11/16" Corian nut. A Tune-O-Matic bridge and stopbar tailpiece with Gibson Deluxe tuners in gold complete the timeless Standard package, finished off with the gold "Les Paul Model" script and mother-of-pearl headstock inlay.
