Condition: Very Good condition, 2015 model. Guitar shows some wear consistant with play. Finish on the body shows scratches/swirls in the VOS finish. Back and sides show a handful of small dings, some scuffs in the finish. Hardware shows some cloudiness/tarnish. Headstock veneer shows some light checking, finish separation around the inlays. Some finish damage from a stand or wall hanger on the bottom of the headstock where guitar would hang. Pickguard is not included. Comes with original hardshell case.
This 2015 Gibson Memphis ES-355 in Ebony VOS is a storied model in Gibson's history — the top-of-the-line semi-hollow ES model, long favored by blues and jazz players for its combination of feedback resistance and airy resonance. This particular example is in very good condition for a 2015 model, showing honest player wear (scratches and swirls in the VOS finish on the body, small dings and finish scuffs on the back and sides, hardware cloudiness and tarnish consistent with the aged VOS treatment, light checking and finish separation around the headstock veneer inlays, and some finish damage on the bottom of the headstock from a stand or wall hanger), the pickguard not included, and comes with the original Gibson hardshell case.
