This 2025 Mayones Duvell Elite 6 in Lava Burst (Serial #DF2506109) is handbuilt in Poland and pairs a 3A curly poplar top with a khaya (African mahogany) body. Curly poplar carries a wild, rippling figure, so no two tops look alike. Under the gloss Lava Burst finish, it glows from deep red at the edges to bright orange at the center, with a scraped natural edge in place of binding. A matching 3A curly poplar headstock in Lava Burst ties the look together. At 7.34 lbs., it’s comfortable for long sets.

The bolt-on neck is 3-ply maple and wenge, a laminated build that adds stiffness and stability through seasonal changes. It’s shaped to Mayones’ Duvell carve (.815" at the 1st fret, .850" at the 12th) with a satin finish for fast, smooth movement. The ebony fretboard has double offset white acrylic dot inlays and a flat 16" radius built for speed and low action.
