This 2025 PRS Hollowbody II Piezo in Aurora Borealis is a used, near-mint example of PRS's flagship hollowbody, and Aurora Borealis is the finish that makes the case for a 10 Top. Figured maple on both the top and back, in high-gloss nitrocellulose, with the color shifting across the flame as the guitar moves. Mahogany sides fill in the warmth underneath, and the combination is what gives the Hollowbody II its clarity and acoustic resonance unplugged. At 5.64 lbs. it's remarkably light, and the binding is scraped rather than applied — a detail that takes real hand work.
The mahogany neck carries PRS's Pattern profile (7/8" at the 1/2 fret, 61/64" at the 12 1/2 fret), set into the body and finished in gloss.
