This PRS SE Swamp Ash Special in Charcoal (Serial #F062103) is a used guitar in near-mint condition. The body is swamp ash under a gloss polyurethane Charcoal finish, and it weighs 9.34 lb. Wear is minimal. You'll find a few light scratches and swirls in the clearcoat, and nothing more. The original tuners have been swapped for PRS SE locking tuners, so string changes go faster and tuning holds steady.

The bolt-on maple neck uses PRS's Wide Thin carve (13/16" at the 1/2 fret, 57/64" at the 12 1/2 fret) with a satin finish that feels quick under the hand. The maple fretboard carries PRS bird inlays, a 10" radius, and 22 frets on a 25" scale, with a 1.6875" nut width. Maple on maple with a bolt-on joint gives every note a bright, snappy attack. Hardware is nickel throughout, including the PRS patented tremolo for anything from light shimmer to deeper dips.

The pickup layout sets this model apart. PRS 85/15 "S" humbuckers sit at the neck and bridge, and a PRS-designed AS-01 single-coil sits in the middle. The AS-01 pairs alnico and steel, which adds mass and gives it more output than a standard single-coil. Controls are one volume, one tone with a push-pull coil split, and a 3-way pickup selector. Expect tight lows, bright but smooth highs, and plenty of twang. Split the humbuckers for hot country and blues, or run them full for thicker rock and jazz sounds. Whether you're a country picker, a blues player, or a working guitarist who needs one bolt-on to cover the whole set list, this SE Swamp Ash Special delivers. This used PRS SE Swamp Ash Special in Charcoal (Serial #F062103) comes with its original PRS SE gig bag. Order today from Brian's Guitars, your authorized PRS dealer.
