The 1995 Taylor 310e in Natural is a sapele dreadnought with real stage-ready electronics — a proven road guitar built during Taylor's early years perfecting the acoustic-electric dreadnought format. The body pairs a solid Sitka spruce top with sapele back and sides, forward-shifted bracing with a relief rout for extra top flex and volume, and a Venetian cutaway for upper-fret access. Black body binding and a 3-ring white rosette dress up the gloss natural finish. It weighs 5.36 lbs. Condition is very good, with some small scuffs, scratches, and dings on the top, back, and sides, plus pick marks on the pickguard — an honest, well-played dreadnought.
The neck is tropical mahogany in Taylor's Standard shape (.835" at the 1st fret, .870" at the 9th), bolted on for easy adjustment and consistent action over time. An ebony fretboard with white dot inlays runs a 15" radius, 20 frets, a 25.5" scale length, and a 1 11/16" Tusq nut. The bridge is ebony with a Tusq saddle, tuners are Grover in chrome, and the headstock is faced in Indian rosewood — solid, road-tested hardware throughout.
Amplification comes from Taylor's Prefix preamp system, with volume and 4-band EQ controls for shaping tone on stage or direct to a board.
