This 2010 Taylor 324ce in Shaded Edgeburst (Serial #1110106031) is a Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric with a warm, focused voice. The top is solid mahogany over Tasmanian blackwood back and sides. Mahogany gives the top a warm, controlled sound with a strong midrange, while blackwood adds clarity and sparkle in the highs. The Shaded Edgeburst satin finish darkens toward the edges, with ivoroid purfling and a white-bound rosette. The Venetian cutaway opens up the upper frets. This one weighs 4.5 lb.

The top is X-braced with spruce, the classic bracing pattern behind generations of steel-string acoustics. The tropical mahogany neck has Taylor’s Standard carve (.830" at the 1st fret, .875" at the 9th fret), slim and easy to play. A satin finish keeps your hand moving.
